Dear God,
We thank You for all the saints who have gone before us.
For the saints we personally knew; the ones who loved us and invested in us.
And for those saints who have inspired the masses; the ones who gave their lives for You.
We thank You for the hard workers who made our lives easier.
We thank You for the pioneers and inventors who made our lives better.
We thank You for the disciples who led us to Your Kingdom.
For the days that are di cult—lead us to depend on You and each other.
For the pain that still exists from our loss—help us to grieve and recover.
For the memories we have—help us to recall and bless us with joy.
Teach us to live wisely and learn from their examples of faith, hope, and love.
Raise us to new heights in life.
Empower us to continue building on the rich legacy that was le for us.
Above all, thank You for Jesus Christ.
He died for our sins and sacri ced his life as a ransom for many.
He gives us abundant life today and eternal life with You forever.
