Dear God,
I take this moment to recall and honor Your great love.
It was the day creation turned on the Creator.
It was the day Peter denied Jesus.
It was the day Jesus suffered a devastating death on the cross.
Through destruction You bring hope.
Through captivity You bring freedom.
Through emptiness You bring fullness.
Through pain You bring love.
Through humiliation You bring forgiveness.
Through death You bring life.
It was the day You showed there is no greater love than the One who gives His life for His friends.
It was the day Jesus forgave the criminal on the cross.
It was the day You prepared me for resurrection.
I take this moment to recall and honor Your great love.
